Too much of Fatigue - Are you defecient in Vitamin B12?

Did you know - The defeciency of Vitamin B 12 is also known as Folate defeciency Anaemia
Let's discuss something about it...

The causes of vitain B12 defeciency are -

1) Vegan Diet.
2)Bowel related problems like Gastric trouble, Indigestion,   
    Diarrhoea, Acidity etc
3) Pernicious anaemia.
4) Chronic alcoholism.
5) Surgery of any portion of Gastrointestinal tract.
6) Long term use of Acidity curbing drugs usually known as antacids.

The symtoms we need to be aware of!

1) Excess of Weakness/Fatigue/Tiredness
2) Restlessness
3) Rapid heart rate which increases all the more on performing any physical activity
4) Bleeding gums
5) Sore throat
6) Mouth ulcers
7) Numbness in extremities
8) Pale skin colour
9) Diarrhoea / Constipation
10) Rapid breathing
11) Hair loss. 
12) Dryness of skin
13) Low immunity levels.

The symptoms can happen individually or in combination..
If only 1 symptom is getting magnified in your case.. refer a Doctor immediately!

 Why should you worry if you are Viamin B 12 defecient???

Because Vitamin B12 is the energy related vitamin. 
It deals with 
1) Energy production -  Defeciency - Low on energy and lesser absorption of other nutrients, diarrhoea, constipation etc.

2) Synthesis of our very valuable DNA -  Defeciency - Less efficient function of all systems.

3) Myelin sheath formation (basically better health of nerves and their endings) - Defeciency - Numbness of extremities, Fatigue, less responsiveness etc.

which means it deals with all the most necessary functions in our body... and so 

we can't afford to be defecient in it!

How do I know if I am defecient in Vitamin B 12?

Consult your family Doctor & get a blood test done. On getting the report consult both the Doctor and the Dietician.
